I just got back from the 10K Drive / Icarus Line show. Too bad Airplanes Are Better didn't show up. It's strange to me how I'm the only one in the band that goes to these shows, hmm. And I want to say thanks to Rachel who always picks me up when I see her (literally and figuratively)--Thanks. So now I'm enjoying a cup of hot apple cider and trying to decide what to pack for my trip to Dallas. Man, could life be better than seeing 10K Drive tonight, Stavesacre tomorrow night, and Red Animal War and Denison Marrs on Saturday. I think not. Well, stay tuned for info on Matthew's side project...I might have some semi-big news in mid-January.

Up at 7:30 this morning. Wow, that's a record for me. Could've used some coffee. So Epic Strain is going to be playing a show in January here in Lubbock with one of Matthew's favorite bands--Fontane. I'm trying to book the show at the 19th Street Warehouse because that is a really cool place (and it has no chairs so everyone has to stand up). Not that you are concerned, but I finished my last essay this morning, so now I am officially liberated from the albatross. Ok, off to work.

Man, I love surfin the net when I should be finishing a take-home final that has already taken me 15 hours. But surfin the net gains value when you find stuff this funny, and you better click on that link (may not be suitable for children under 15). So, I'm two days away from semi-freedom (no school, still work) and five days away from total freedom. Yee haw.
Epic Strain is having a reunion practice (at least that's the way it feels because it's been a long time) tomorrow night, and I'm really excited to get to crank my amp again and play on my new Gibson SG. I really should make you people pay to read all this intruiging information, which would probably end up getting me like a few pennies a month. Ok, that's enough. NO SOUP FOR YOU!!! Bye.

There is nothing like a smoothie for dinner.

Hey, you know they're all the same. you know you're doing better on your own, so don't buy in. live right now. just be yourself. it doesn't matter if that's good enough for someone else. --Jimmy Eat World

Sorry about the short hiatus from un-news entries. Been a little busy. Some fun things that have happend: Brooks and I went to see 10K Drive play at the 19th Street Warehouse. Yeah, they rocked it. We also got to see Kyle (previously of Tom Foolery and the Mistakes)-- he played an acoustic set, and it was incredible. Other fun things, I found out that my friend that I hung out with all weekend, well her dad invented Lunchables. How cool is that? Ok, well that's all I have to say for now. Bye.
