How cold is it? Expletive cold. 16 degrees with a wind chill much lower and snowing like a madman. And a Lubbockite friend of mine says that it gets much much worse. Brrr. The bad thing about icy roads is that they really make me want to go drive around. And I did... some advice: driving on icy roads = no problem; stopping on icy roads = problem. One good thing about this weather is that I get to wear my favorite hat. So can anyone tell I'm addicted to this new blog?

Well, I left Abilene last night at midnight and had quite a good drive back to Lubbock. I have to recommend setting out on a 200 mile solo drive at midnight to everyone. It is very liberating, or at least it feels that way. That whole "no man is an island" thing, yeah, whatever. Anyway, so Nicky and I went and saw the all-chick band Harlow in Abilene. We had watched them on VH1 Bands on the Run, so we had to go check them out. I'd have to say they are much better live than I thought, and I also have to say that they are so much more incredibly HOT than they were on tv (at least Rayshele). Too bad we had to leave early and I didn't get to work my mojo. Well, I'm off to class. Hasta.
